[Intro: Bebe Rexha + Nicki Minaj]
Oh baby, oh baby I know that you’ve been hurting
(This is a star studded collaboration)
Oh baby, oh baby I know that you’ve been hurting
I’m Nicki Minaj, that’s Bebe, let’s go
[Hook: Bebe Rexha]
No broken hearts in the club, no tears in the club
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
[Verse 1: Bebe Rexha]
We going straight to Miami
Hop on a plane don’t need no plans
Shining so hard like a Grammy
Forget all the players what they did
We gonna be buying the drinks, we gonna be buying the drinks
Line up the bottles, line up the models, we gonna forget everything
[Pre-Hook: Bebe Rexha]
Oh ain’t nobody going home, you know what you came for
To dance off the pain, don’t feel a thing, just feel the champagne
If you’re feeling lonely, baby let me hear you sing
[Hook: Bebe Rexha]
No broken hearts in the club, no tears in the club
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
We only got one life, so let’s go hard till the day we die
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
[Verse 2: Bebe Rexha]
We gonna do it real biggie
Sky is the limit in this town
We taking over the city
We too high to bring us down
We gonna do what we do, we gonna do what we do
Three in the morning, four in the morning, meet you for eggs in the morning
[Pre-Hook: Bebe Rexha]
Oh ain’t nobody going home, you know what you came for
To dance off the pain, don’t feel the shame, just feel the champagne
If you’re feeling lonely, baby let me hear you sing
[Hook: Bebe Rexha]
No broken hearts in the club, no tears in the club
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
We only got one life, so let’s go hard till the day we die
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
[Verse 3: Nicki Minaj]
Ay yo Bebe, anybody hatin’ need a pee pee
Sip a little Myx, pop pills till I’m sleepy
I’m the one that bust it open out in Waikiki
Pull up in the Ghost, I’m creepy
They don’t want beef, we proved it
Niggas better keep it on wax like a Q-tip
Keep his dick wetter than the cruise ship
Flower than a tulip, flyer than your new bitch
I do’s it, yup I’m up two zip
Girls is my sons, I’m giving them milf teas
They be sweatin’ me, headbands and gym tees
Like bad knees on Dirk Nowitzki’s, it is going down like M. Lewinsky’s
Wrist freeze yep my wrist on pink skis
Ring finger be shitting on my pinky’s
Make em mad, aww man I got them hating bad
Blood clot money green like Jamaican flags
[Hook: Bebe Rexha]
No broken hearts in the club, no tears in the club
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
We only got one life, so let’s go hard till the day we die
No broken hearts in the club, more drinks pour it up
Cause we gon get it poppin’ tonight
Nicki Minaj brother Jelani Maraj was convicted of raping an 11-year-old girl who was his stepdaughter.
A jury returned the guilty verdict on Thursday after hours of deliberation, NY Daily News reported. Maraj, 38, sat in court stoned face as the verdict was read out. The highly publicized case saw the young girl and her brother testifying while giving graphic details of her sexual encounter with Maraj who was married to her mother. She told the court that he would rape her sometimes up to four times per day.
Nicki Minaj did not attend court during the trial, but she reportedly foots her brother’s legal bill. He is now facing 15 years to life in prison. Jelani Maraj got married to the victim’s mother in 2015 in a lavish wedding that Nicki Minaj reportedly paid for. The first allegation of the sexual abuse came just four months after the couple got married and the victim was just 11 years old at the time.
The young girl, who is now 14, testified in court that her stepfather anally raped her at one point, and then slapped her in her face and told her to keep quiet about what was happening. Her young brother also testified in court that he once walked into a spare bedroom and caught Maraj raping his sister. One juror told reporters that the young girl’s testimony was difficult to listen to. “What (the victim) went through all that time,” Juror Arthur Naclerio, 67, said. “Thinking that if it was a lie, how could she keep it up that long at that age?”
During the three-week trial, Nicki Minaj was rumored to be testifying on his behalf, but she never did and sources told Dancehall HipHop that her attorney advised her not to go near the courtroom much less take the witness stand. The guilty verdict in her brother’s rape case is now giving her some bad press.
His attorney accused the girl’s mother of being vindictive and wanted $25 million from the rap star to make the case go away.
Safaree Samuels has a message for his ex-girlfriend Nicki Minaj.
Last weekend, Nicki posted a video of herself and her girls hanging out drinking some wine and smoking blunts. According to Safaree, Nicki is now in her mid 30s and that’s when she decided to take up smoking. The Love and Hip Hop star says his ex need help and he hopes that she gets it. Some of Nicki Minaj’s fans, aka Barbz. have started attacking Safaree accusing him of stalking Minaj on social media.
If you wait to your mid 30’s to pick up a habit and show it off like it’s cool, you need help. I feel sorry for you. Stop,” Safaree said. He didn’t name anyone when making his statement but everyone already point fingers towards the Young Money rapper. Nicki doesn’t seems like the hardcore smoking type so perhaps she was just hanging with friends and just taking a hit off something. Safaree even said it that Nicki wasn’t a smoker when they were together. Perhaps he is just concerned about her well being.

Meek Mill violated his probation and now he is heading back to prison for up to four years.
The Philadelphia rapper turned up to court today with his attorney, Brian McMonagle, where he learned his fate. Meek Mill has been having a string of legal victories over the past couple of weeks, but today his luck ran out when a judge ruled that he violated his probation when he was recently arrested in New York City. Although he struck a deal with prosecutors to avoid jail time, Meek still found himself in deeper legal problems with his probation.
The Dreamchasers rapper was sentenced to 2-4 years in a state prison, TMZ reported. He also violated his probation for an alleged fight at St. Louis airport. In that case too, the charge was dismissed. Meek Mill has been on probation for a 2009 gun and drug charge. As part of his probation, he cannot have any runnings with law enforcement including getting arrested.
Although the charges were dismissed, the judge ruled that the arrest alone is a violation of his probation. In 2015, Meek Mill violated his probation when he traveled out of state to an award show with Nicki Minaj without permission. He got off on just three months of house arrest. This time he might not be so lucky and could serve up to four years of prison time.
Meek Mill has been working hard to rehabilitate his image in recent years through a number of charitable initiatives and at one point he even announced on social media that he will stop recording music with violent lyrics. That effort was clearly not enough to get him into good grace with the judge. Since the news broke, he has been getting some support from his celebrity peers. It’s not clear when his sentence will start.
Nicki Minaj and Lil Uzi Vert drop their long awaited collaboration “The Way Life Goes (Remix).”
The track has been in the works since around September and just when fans thought that it would never see the light of day, it did and here it is. Nicki Minaj responded to a question from her fans about the collaborative single last month on Twitter. “Been done!!! but apparently someone somewhere wants to hold back on putting it out right now. It’s not me & it’s not Uzi tho. Tea anyone?” Nicki tweeted while hinting that perhaps someone at the label executive level might be holding back the track.
This is the second guest feature we are getting from Nicki Minaj in the past week after teaming up with the Migos trio and Cardi B on the new track “Motor Sport.” She has been getting a lot of praise for her verse on the track and after listening to this new joint “The Way Life Goes (Remix)” you will feel the same way too. Both Nicki and Cardi B had to respond to rumors of more tension between this week with some folks like Joe Budden saying that they are taking shots at each other on the single “Motor Sport.”
“Now you beggin’ this a doozy / But beggars cannot by choosey / Been the queen for eight summers / Just tell them to call me Suzy / This that Nicki, this that Uzi / This Hennessy got me woozy / Broke the internet in 5411’s and some Gucci / The blue ribbons eating sushi,” Nicki Minaj raps
Cardi B has weighed in on some rumored tension between herself and Nicki Minaj.
The two female emcees collaborated for the first time on Migos’ new single “Motor Sport” but despite being featured on the same track some folks thinks that they are still beefing. Yesterday, Nicki Minaj responded to some conspiracy being spread by Joe Budden on Everyday Struggle that she never know that Cardi B would be featured on the track with her. She called the claims bogus and said that she always has to okay every single that she is featured on before they’re released.
Cardi B spoke with Complex where she addressed the rumored beef saying that people [Joe Budden] would still not be satisfied even if she and Nicki Minaj were kissing in a photo. “I feel like people wouldn’t be satisfied if me and her were making out on a freaking photo, or if I was with any female artist,” she said. “People just want that drama, because it’s just entertaining,” offered the Bronx native. “When Remy and Nicki were going at each other, everybody was getting entertained, and I think that’s what people want.”
Cardi B seems like she is over the chatters of a beef between herself and Nicki Minaj and just want to make music with as much female rappers as she can. She also blast some of the industry personalities who calls for unity in hip hop culture but then at the same time tries to put women against each other. “They don’t do that sh*t in pop music,” she said.”
Despite Cardi B’s claims though, pop stars have been feuding with each other just the same, think Taylor Swift and Katy Perry, or Jennifer Lopez and Mariah Carey, to name a few. Nevertheless, Cardi’s point is duly noted that a lot of folks in hip hop are trying to fuel a beef between herself and Nicki Minaj.
Nicki Minaj has stepped forward to address critics of her collaboration with Cardi B and Migos.
Since her shot to the mainstream this summer, Cardi B has been rumored to be having beef with Nicki Minaj and now that they will be featured on the same tack together for the first time, here comes the conspiracy theorists. Some folks on Twitter are alleging that Nicki didn’t know about the collaboration because she believed that it was just another song with Migos, but the Young Money rapper is calling the claims bogus.
“I was on the song w/Quavo. No one else was on it. He called & asked if I think we should put Bardi on it, I said “ok let’s do it”. The end,” she wrote on Twitter before adding, “Migos weren’t even on it yet. Just Quavo. The conspiracy theories r just so tired. Relax. Breathe. Imagine me not knowing who on a song w/me.”
“Anything w/my name on it gets approved by me. It can’t even go on a streaming service w/o me hearing it & giving written approval,” she added. “These are men in our culture who simply refuse to let it go. They don’t do this to male M.C.’s. But yo #Motorsport #1 added on urban radio.”

Remy Ma enlists Lil Kim for her new Nicki Minaj diss track “Wake Me Up.”
This move is not surprising given that these are two of Nicki Minaj’s most recognized foes. Remy Ma recently signed a new record deal with Columbia Records and is working on her new album which will be the first under the label. It’s not yet known if this new track “Wake Me Up” will be featured on that upcoming project or will it be released just as a single.
Over the weekend, a photo surfaced of the two female rappers shooting a music video for the single. The photo shows Kimmy Blanco and Remy Ma sitting on a sports car that looks like a Lamborghini. A few lines off the track was leaked online that shows the Love and Hip Hop New York star taking shots at Nicki Minaj. “That crown, I’m gon’ take that sh*t / ‘Cause you a clown and homie don’t play that sh*t,” Remy raps and another line that referenced Nicki’s relationship with Nas. “I heard he lay that d*ck / You let them filet that fish / You just met him, how he bae that quick?”
Remy Ma reportedly signed a multi-million dollar with Columbia Records and is currently working on her first album for the label. While Nicki’s beef with Lil Kim goes back years, her feud with Remy Ma really took root at earlier this year and spawned that infamous diss track “shETHER.” Lil Kim also posted a photo on Twitter of herself and Remy Ma in the studio. “My partner frfr @RealRemyMa!! The amount of that was in this room was ridiculous!! Somebody call the fire marshals sheesh,” she wrote.

The album comes with 13 tracks and sees guest appearances from Chris Brown, 21 Savage, Meek Mill, YFN Lucci, and French Montana.
I Still Am is the ninth studio album from the Memphis rapper who continues to show growth in an era when the industry is competitive. “Rake It Up” with Nicki Minaj is perhaps the biggest hit of his career. Nicki Minaj wants more respect on her name and Kendrick Lamar seems to agree with her.
Nicki says that male hip hop fans should put some respect on her name just like they do her male counterparts. For the last few weeks. the Young Money rapper has been complaining bitterly about not getting the same respect as the male rappers in the industry even after creating a vast catalog and an impressive resume in music and fashion over the past decade. Today (October 25), she went on Twitter to offload some things off her chest.
In her first tweet, Nicki Minaj thanks Russ for heaping praises on her on Wednesday during an interview with Rap Radar’s Elliot Wilson and B. Dot. During a preview of the upcoming interview, Russ said what several other industry personalities have been echoing, that Nicki has not been getting the credit that she deserves. Minaj thanked him for the gesture and then went on to vent about getting the most hate from the male fans in the industry and even some of her male counterparts.

“This was so nice of you my love, thank you,” she wrote. “In any field, women must work TWICE as hard to even get HALF the respect her male counterparts get. When does this stop?” She went on to elaborate that the great rappers in the industry have all collaborated with other great MCs of her era like Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole, three rappers who are often mentioned in discussions about the top five rappers of this generation. “The greats collaborated w/Drake, Kendrick & Jcole b/c they’re dope MC’s. They collab’d w/nicki cuz someone pulled a gun to their heads,” she added.
In another tweet that seems to be a shot at new rappers like Cardi B, Nicki Minaj she shouldn’t even be placed in the same sentence as these new MCs after being an OG for 10 years consistently putting out hit records. “Putting ppl in the same sentence as me after my 10 years of consistent winning. What are you teaching THEM? They’d never do this to a man,” she wrote.
She went and dug up an old tweet from Kendrick Lamar from 2010 where the Compton rapper said more males hate Nick than females. “Just realized. Moe ni**az hate nicki minaj than woman do. #yallniggazisreallypausewhenithinkaboutit,” K-Dot wrote.

Nicki Minaj will not be testifying in her brother’s highly publicized rape case and for good reasons.
The hip hop superstar’s older brother Jelani Maraj is currently on trial for allegedly raping an 11-year-old girl. Last week, Page Six reported that Nicki Minaj will be a star witness in the high profile trial that could send her brother to prison for life. The 11-year-old victim is his stepdaughter and she told authorities that Maraj had sex with her up to four times per week. The rapper’s brother legal team also told reporters that she will take the stand in his defense.
Despite the reports of Nicki Minaj testimony in the trial, sources told Dancehall HipHop that she is fully supporting her brother, but will not be taking the stand. “The talks of her [Nicki Minaj] testifying are just not true,” sources told us. “She is supporting her brother by paying his legal fees and giving him moral support, but she will not be testifying.” We’re told that Nicki Minaj team strongly advised her against testifying telling her that he could be damaging for her brand. “It’s a difficult decision for her because this is her brother and she loves her family, but this is just too much of a risk for her brand,” sources around the Trinidadian rapper told us.
Jelani Maraj’s rape trial is currently underway in a long island court and Nicki will not be going to court. Jelani’s wife, Jacqueline Robinson, told Nicki Minaj that she could make the case go away for $25 million. Of course, the rapper did not bite so the case now goes to trial. The Assistant District Attorney Emma Slane told jurors in court that the little girl’s younger brother, who was 8 years old at the time, was the first person to reveal the sexual abuse to child services who then called the cops.
Investigators got a search warrant and went to the house where they recovered a pajama stained with her stepdad’s semen. The boy also testified in the trial that his stepfather spanks him for walking in on him having sex with his older sister in a spare bedroom. The defense attorney says this is all a ply by their mother, Jacqueline Robinson, to get money from Nicki Minaj, whom she has been obsessed with from day one.
2 Chainz has announced that he has a new album coming sooner than later.
The Atlanta rapper made the announcement on his Twitter page on Tuesday night while posting some photos from his new TRU (The Real University) photoshoot. “New album on the way, I’m farther than I thought I was !!! Naw I’m lying I knew I had some shit brewing #nocap #drenchGOD,” he wrote. In other words he been hitting the studio laying down some tracks for the new project and he now feels confidence enough to publicly announced it.
These days artists only revealed new project when they are a few weeks away from being released, sometimes even days away. What makes this project interesting is that 2 Chainz released his last album Pretty Girls Like Trap Music in June, so if this new body of work arrives before year end it means he would have given us two albums in a matter of a few months. For Pretty Girls Like Trap Music, Tity Boi taps some big names like Nicki Minaj, Drake, Gucci Mane, Migos, Travis Scott, and more. The album was recently certified gold by the RIAA and is on the way to getting platinum certification.

Nicki Minaj announced that she is going on tour next year and she has a couple big surprises coming.
Some fans are already thinking that she may announced her new album soon or perhaps announce that she is dating Nas, which we already know that last one. On Tuesday, Nicki Minaj went on Instagram to get some things off her chest about some recent reports over an interview that she did with XXL where she said that she brought back female rap to the mainstream.
Nicki Minaj was complaining bitterly about the media twisting her words to spark controversy, which she thinks is unfair to her. She clarified what she said and at the end of her lengthy statement on Instagram, she revealed that she will be on tour next year and has some big surprises for her fans coming. “See u guys on tour next year. I got a cpl BIG surprises,” she wrote.
The Young Money rapper is currently working on her new album, a project that she says will be career-defining for her. Over the past few months she has been dropping some hints about the upcoming project but nothing concrete like the title and release date or who will be on the guest list. Nevertheless, her announcing this tour is a clear indication that she will be dropping the album soon.
Nicki Minaj covers T Magazine’s Great Issue where she spoke out about having to work much harder than her male counterparts to get the same recognition. “I had so much going against me in the beginning: being black, being a woman, being a female rapper,” she said. “No matter how many times I get on a track with everyone’s favorite M.C. and hold my own, the culture never seems to want to give me my props as an M.C., as a lyricist, as a writer. I got to prove myself a hundred times, whereas the guys that came in around the same time as I did, they were given the titles so much quicker without anybody second-guessing.”
Nicki Minaj covers T Magazine’s Great Issue and she made some interesting revelations in her cover story.
Despite all the chatters about the female hip hop scene currently, Nicki Minaj is still very much the leading female artist in the genre, a title she earned herself with her hard work and dedication over the years. In her interview with Time, the Young Money rapper spoke in depth about her career including her upcoming album and her vast catalog.
“I kind of love that I’ve had to go through so many hurdles to get where I am because I feel like I deserve it,” she said. “I had so much going against me in the beginning: being black, being a woman, being a female rapper. No matter how many times I get on a track with everyone’s favorite M.C. and hold my own, the culture never seems to want to give me my props as an M.C., as a lyricist, as a writer. I got to prove myself a hundred times, whereas the guys that came in around the same time as I did, they were given the titles so much quicker without anybody second-guessing.”
Nicki Minaj and Drake broke onto the rap scene at the same time in 2009 when Lil Wayne signed both of them to Young Money/Cash Money. Other rappers like Kendrick Lamar and J. Cole broke onto the scene after the two Young Money titans and all three male emcees, Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole are often mentioned in the discussion about the top five rappers of this generation. Nicki Minaj, on the other hand, is often seen as just a regular rapper doing her thing, despite for years being the only female out there putting in the work.
“I believe in my gift wholeheartedly,” Minaj said. “Sometimes I wake up and say, ‘I don’t know if I can do this anymore,’ you know? I’ve had those times. I’ve had those years where I’m just like, ‘Am I good enough?’” But then she wholeheartedly believe that she was meant to withstand what regular girls can’t.
Nicki Minaj is currently working on her new album but still hasn’t given any concrete details like release date and title. Nevertheless, she said its the most free she has ever been since her mixtape days to make the music that she wants to make.

Nicki Minaj ignites a heated debate yesterday when a statement she made about female rappers surfaced online.
Missy Elliott is among her critics on Twitter bashing her for suggesting that she brought back female rap to the mainstream. In her interview with XXL, Nicki Minaj says female rappers were all but extinct before she came on the scene. Some of her fans on Twitter agreed with her statement about her role in hip-hop and what she brought to the table. But some rap fans think that she is reaching and Missy seems to be one of those who thinks that she is wrong.
Elliot posted a photo of Lil Kim where she wrote, “There’s no denying that @LilKim has been a risk taker not just in music but in fashion she wasn’t afraid. She meshed high fashion & hiphop.” The photo of Lil Kim is from 1999 before her plastic surgeries. That shoot was done by famed photographer David LaChappelle and features Kimmy’s skin decked out in Louis Vuitton patterns. While she didn’t mention Nicki Minaj by name, she might as well had because the barbz were quickly on the attack. The heated exchange also brought some of Lil Kim fans out of the woodwork to attack the Young Money rapper suggesting that she is not a rapper and more of a pop star.
“There wasn’t a big female rap presence right before I got in,” Nicki Minaj said in her interview when asked about her role in hip-hop. “So, my role was reintroducing the female rapper to pop culture. I don’t think we got that much credit. I think female rappers have always been dope and influential, but I think I sort of came in at a time where big business was paying attention, so I was able to capitalize off of a lot of deals and business ventures.”
Perhaps the strongest defense of Nicki Minaj’s statement came from words from people in the hip-hop industry. One of the Trini rapper’s fans posted a video from an episode of Sway about the same topic. You can watch that video below and sound off in the comments.

Nicki Minaj accomplishments in hip hop over the last decade cannot go unnoticed, but is she the reason why female rappers are popping again.
Since breaking onto the rap scene in 2009, Nicki Minaj has dominated female rap and even won over some of the big boys in the game with whom she has collaborated with over the years including JAY-Z, Eminem, Kanye West, and Lil Wayne. At one point, she was the most heavily featured artist in the game, with every rapper on the planet wanting a verse from her. That demand for her service lead her to dominate the Billboard Hot 100 chart and now she is the female artist with the most entries on that chart in history after surpassing the great Aretha Franklin.
Achievements like those would take a lot of artists their entire career to get, but it took her a little less than a decade after Lil Wayne took a chance with her in the late 2000s after watching her rap on a DVD. During her recently cover story in XXL, Nicki Minaj opened up about her impact on hip hop culture over the years and what she said a lot of her fans will agree with her. She is among several other rappers featured on the Magazine’s 20th anniversary issue.
“My role in hip-hop has been super unique because when my first album came out, there had been so much time where there wasn’t a female rap album out that went platinum,” she said. “There wasn’t a big female rap presence right before I got in. So, my role was reintroducing the female rapper to pop culture. I don’t think we got that much credit. I think female rappers have always been dope and influential, but I think I sort of came in at a time where big business was paying attention, so I was able to capitalize off of a lot of deals and business ventures.”
Nicki Minaj is currently working on her new album which she hope will spawn her first Billboard Hot 100 number one hit and perhaps win her that long overdue Grammy award. Some fans will see her statement as a shot at Cardi B, but clearly she is speaking on female rap in general.
Watch Cardi B shaking her ass-ets while celebrating her 25th birthday on Wednesday (October 11).
The “Bodak Yellow” rapper posted a video on Instagram at midnight on Tuesday night to mark the beginning of her birthday celebration. The one-minute clip shows her shaking her ample rear while her friend yelled in the background, “If it’s your birthday make some noise.” Cardi B has a lot to be celebrating right now not just her 25th birthday. She has the number one song on the planet and she just wrapped up a well-received performance at the 2017 BET Hip Hop Awards.
Cardi B’s boyfriend Offset of Migos is throwing a party in her honor sometime this week and also will be presenting her with some expensive gifts. “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” is now in its third week at the top of the Billboard Hot 100 chart making her the longest running female solo rapper at the top of the chart in history. Bardi also picked up three awards at last night’s BET Hip Hop Awards for Best New Artist, Hustler of the Year, and Single of the Year, which is all the more accolades for her to celebrate, she deserves all the glory she is getting now.
Cardi B is currently working on her new album, due early next year. She is also prepping her fans for her follow-up hit to “Bodak Yellow.” Last week she previewed a new single on Instagram that sounds fire, but she has decided yet if that will be her next solo single. Interestingly, Nicki Minaj is also working on her new album and with a soft rivalry going on between these two ladies, this should make for an interesting comparison when both projects arrive. Neither has given any release dates or titles for their respective projects, but we haven’t had a female rap album in a while so both projects are well overdue.

The new book “The Autobiography of Gucci Mane” is now out and the Atlanta rapper has an excerpt in there that touched on Nicki Minaj feud with Lil Kim.
Gucci Mane is winning right now and this year is perhaps one of the best years of his career. He was released from prison last year May and was fortunate enough to get off probation last month. Gucci has never been in better shape physically and mentally for the past year and he is spilling it all in his new book.
One of the biggest takeaways from his biography was when he spoke about the first time that he met Nicki Minaj. “I hopped out of the van and was making my way toward the venue when I saw this pretty girl get off Wayne’s bus and start running toward us,” the book reads. “She was small, no taller than five-two, but right away I saw a big personality. ‘Gucci! I always wanted to meet you,’ she said. ‘I’m Nicki, I’m here with Young Money.’”
Gucci then revealed how Nicki Minaj ran up to him and started talking about being a big fan of his. She even spoke about the remix to his single “Freaky Gurl” and asked him why would he put Lil’ Kim on there. “She told me she was a fan and had even put out her own remix to ‘Freaky Gurl,’” Gucci added. ‘Why would you put a b*tch from Brooklyn on there, though?’ she asked, referring to Lil Kim. ‘I know you got people in Queens. You supposed to have a b*tch from Queens on there.’ For her to know my connections to Queens, she really must be a fan, I thought. The girl was cool. We exchanged numbers and I went inside to perform.”
Seems that incident is from about 2009 when Nicki Minaj just signed with Young Money and was on the come up.

Cardi B is already working on her next big hit song which she hopes will be as big or bigger than “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves).”
The Queens emcee got a piece of music history this week when she became only the second female rapper in history to have a solo Billboard Hot 100 number one song. Seems she has already celebrated the occasion and is working on her next big hit. Cardi B posted a clip on Instagram last night of herself dropping some bars from what will form her next single from her upcoming album.
This song finds Cardi B reflecting on her come up in the game from her stripper days to having the biggest song on the planet. “Used to dance in the club right across from my school / I said dance, not fuck, don’t get it confused / Had to set the record straight, ’cause bitches love to assume,” she raps. She later drop some more bars in what sounds like the hook “Get money, go hard, muthafu**in’ right / Never been a fraud in my muthafu**in’ life.”
Cardi B has been getting a lot of love this week for her achievement but most importantly for being real and humble. Success comes with haters and she also get some of that from Harlem rapper Azealia Banks who called her a “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.”
#cardib got new music on the way. Sounding ??? or ?????

Cardi B claps back at Azealia Banks calling her a hater.
Despite every female rapper congratulating the Queen emcee, yesterday Banks offload a Twitter tirade on Cardi B calling her the “poor man’s Nicki Minaj.” The Harlem rapper also accused black men of selling out for supporting Bardi and even singled out Charlamagne Tha God for helping the song “Bodak Yellow” reach number one on Billboard. Despite the hate there is only one of the two dancing all the way to the bank.
Last night Cari B posted an old photo of Azealia Banks dancing and rapping to “Bodak Yellow” while hinting that its haters like her who help get the song to number one. “One of the reasons Bodak Yellow went #1 cuz even the HATERS LOVE IT,” she tweeted. Before that she wrote on her timeline, “This is the happiest day of my life and no 1 will take this joy from me .I wish you sour patches a good day !Thats how happy I am.”

Several female rappers have congratulated Cardi B on her historic number one. Lil’ Kim, Missy Elliott, Rapsody, Nicki Minaj, Dej Loaf, and Remy Ma were among the list of female rappers to congratulate her. She became the first female emcee since Lauryn Hill to score a solo Billboard Hot 100 number one song.

Nicki Minaj giving us some thirst trap on Instagram while Cardi B moves to No. 1 on Billboard.
The Young Money rapper is not about to let Cardi B have all the fun on IG, so yesterday she posted a steamy photo of her ample cleavage on the Gram. The photo received almost a million likes and thousands of comments. Not surprisingly, a lot of her fans are asking where is the new album. But she already gave an update on the project, telling her fans that it will be epic.
“While we love getting boobie pics we want that album more so give us that album and stop playing around,” one fan wrote. Nicki Minaj is just as famous for her spitfire flow as for her ass-ets. She has been the leading female in hip hop over the past decade, but for the past two to three years she has been relatively quiet despite scoring a number of Billboard Hot 100 hits. She has been mostly doing guest verses for other artists while she quietly works on her next album, which will be her first since 2014.
Some hip hop fans are trolling her following Cardi B No. 1 record “Bodak Yellow.” The New York rapper created history by becoming the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to score a number one record as a lead artist. Nicki Minaj has yet to score a number one single as a lead artist. In 2014, she scored a number two single with “Anaconda” and in 2011 she scored a number three single with “Super Bass.” Her 2012 hit “Starships” peaked at number five on the Hot 100 chart. Nevertheless, Nicki holds the record for the female with the most Billboard Hot 100 entries ever. Seems there is now a battle of two banging female emcees, lets see how this one will play out.

Cardi B creates hip hop history this week when she becomes the first female rapper since Lauryn Hill to score a solo Billboard number one single.
Cardi’s breakout hit “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” is currently No. 1 on Billboard Hot 100 and she is dancing all the way to the bank because the track is the number one seller on digital media over the past week. Lauryn Hill scored a Billboard Hot 100 number one single as a solo act with “Doo Wop (That Thing)” on November 14, 1998. The song lead the chart for two weeks and helped cemented Hill as one of the greatest emcees of all time.
Other female rappers have achieved number one singles since Hill, but not as a solo artist. In 2001, Lil Kim earned a number one hit as part of the single “Lady Marmalade” with Mya, Pink, and Christina Aguilera. Female rapper Shawnna gets a number one in 2003 by being a guest on Ludacris hit single “Stand Up.” Iggy Azalea gets her first number one single when “Fancy” topped the chart in 2014, but she had help from Charli XCX. That track topped the chart for seven consecutive weeks. Nicki Minaj has yet to score her first Billboard Hot 100 number one single. She has several top ten songs and is the female artists with the most entries to the chart in history.
Cardi B also creates history by becoming the first female rapper to top the chart with their debut single. While Cardi B has released mixtapes before “Bodak Yellow” becomes a mega hit, that was the first time she ever scored a Billboard hit.
Atlantic Records threw a grand party for Cardi B to celebrate the occasion and presented her with her plaque. “Thank you everybody I am very happy and I am very honored,” she said. “Especially since my family is here you know like at first I kept asking and I keep coming to the label like why is my sh*t not playing on the radio I do not understand whats going on and then they just be like you gotta keep working hard to get the record that big record. I said am going to do it am going to give you that record.”
Nicki Minaj congratulate Cardi on her success on Twitter saying, “Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it??? @iamcardib”
Nicki Minaj has congratulated Cardi B on achieving her number one single and then gets trolled over it on Twitter.
Black Twitter can be brutal and almost every celebrity on Twitter is aware of that. Cardi B is celebrating all day today after “Bodak Yellow (Money Moves)” climbs to the number one spot on Billboard. Nicki Minaj tweeting her congratulations earlier today and some fans weren’t too happy about that. Some people think that she was showing fake love, but some of her more loyal fans think that she is genuinely happy for Bardi.
“Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it,” the Young Money rapper tweeted. Some fans started trolling her for the tweet and some of the attacks get pretty mean and personal. “Why you on here congratulating Cardi when you done know that your fake azz don’t like her,” one fan wrote.” She came in the game and got a number one before you and we all know that your hating right now so quit with this fake sh*t.”
Take a look at some of the comments she has been getting on Instagram from trolls.
Despite the backlash from some fans, some of her supporters, aka Barbz, supported her and were happy that she offer some kind words to her fellow Queens rapper. Some fans even ask for a Nicki Minaj remix for “Bodak Yellow.”
Congratulations to a fellow NEW YAWKA on a RECORD BREAKING achievement. Bardi, this is the only thing that matters!!! Enjoy it??? @iamcardib

Nicki Minaj is feeling the wrath of Aaliyah fans on Twitter all because of an “alleged” tweet that she sent out.
We say allegedly because the tweet in question isn’t currently on Nicki Minaj timeline, which means that she either deleted it or didn’t sent out the tweet. The post was allegedly made inside of a group chat name Aaliyah Airlines and it reads, “Someone’s in my dm’s saying they wish this man, (who’s holding a cat) would hold them the way he’s holding this dog. I- I’m so confused.”
Aaliyah fans are upset because they think that Nicki Minaj is disrespecting the late R&B icon. Some fans are questioned why is she in a group chat called Aaliyah Airlines. The Young Money rapper hasn’t responded to any of the thousands of tweets from fans of the singer. “[Nicki Minaj] now beefing with a deceased artist. The great beautiful and amazing woman, Aaliyah. Let that sink in,” one fan wrote, while another added, “Nicki’s mocking Aaliyah’s death like she has an everlasting life when she can’t even sustain an everlasting rap career.”
“It not only upsets me that Nicki purposely did not crop out that Aaliyah Airlines part but she also liked tweets of others laughing,” one fan rant. Nicki is currently working on her new album which is slated to arrive by the end of this year or early next year. She is touting the album as beyond good saying that it will mark the beginning of a new era for her. Whether or not it will live up to the hype only time will tell. So far she has not given us a release date or a title for the highly anticipated project and she has not released an album since 2014. Some fans on Twitter think that she should focus on delivering the album rather than mocking Aaliyah.

Nas offload during a recent Instagram Live session with Nicki Minaj and now some folks think that he was dissing Meek Mill.
Now that we all know that Nas and Nicki Minaj are dating, everyone is now looking for a reaction from Meek Mill and Safaree, but more so the Philly rapper. Nicki made a point to live stream her recent time spent with the New York rap legend at his 44th birthday bash in NYC. You can see in the video below Nas taking shots at all the current rappers in the game, calling them the female genitalia.
“All you ni**a is pu****, everybody that rap is pu***,” Nas rant. Of course, it could just be a case where he drank a little too much Hennessy or perhaps he was taking shots at one particular rapper and just played it off saying all rappers. It could also mean that he is singling out a particular set of rappers since Meek Mill and JAY-Z are now tight and the Dreamchaser emcee is even signed to Roc Nation. Nasir and Hov have long buried their beef but now that Nicki Minaj’s ex-boyfriend is aligned with him it could reignite that old feud.
“Nas should just quit playing and say he is talking about Meek Mill, ni*** its so obvious and now you gonna see all the snowflake Chasers being silent on the Gram,” one fan wrote on Twitter. Some fans are calling out Meek for being silent about Nicki Minaj hooking up with Nas but at the same time, he and his goons jumped her ex-boyfriend Safaree. “Meek is a pu*** for real because he and twelve other ni***as jump Safaree and now you don’t hear a word from him about Nas,” another fan tweeted.
Whether or not Meek will have something to say about the Illmatic rap legend, only time will tell, he sure did had a lot to say about Safaree.
Both Nas and Nicki Minaj are from queens and he made a point to highlight that last weekend when the took did a photoshoot on their home soil.
Got my Bday 1988 190E Benz & picked up Shorty from Queens! We Out!

Nicki Minaj and Nas are now officially dating and here is everything that you know to know about their relationship.
Even before they became a thing, rumors of a budding relationship between Nicki Minaj and New York rap legend Nas has been floating around since 2012 and you will soon find out why. Last week, however, the rumors turned into a confirmation after the Trinidadian rapper was spotted locking lips with the rap icon at his 44th birthday party in NYC. Neither of them confirmed the rumored relationship but video footage surfaced of Nas treating Nicki like glazed donuts. Another clip showed them hugging each other and kissing in a corner although they tried to play it off when they realized a camera was on them.
Nicki Minaj cast Nas as her love interest in her “Right By My Side” music video in 2012. The song features a guest verse from Chris Brown but Breezy didn’t play her love interest, Nasir did and that triggered some dating rumors. At the time Nicki portrayed herself as a single woman although she was dating Safaree Samuels at the time. She and Samuels broke up in 2014 before she started dating Meek Mill, who was blamed for the demise of her relationship with Samuels. The Nas dating rumors died down for a while until earlier this year when it flared up again after they were both spotted having dinner at a restaurant in Brooklyn. The PinkPrint rapper has a knack for denying relationships until it all comes out in the open, the same thing happened with her relationship with Safaree Meek Mill, she denied them until she couldn’t hide it anymore.
Nicki Minaj, 34, and Nas, 44, have been dating since May of 2017 according to E! News. The rumors first surfaced when both of them were spotted having dinner at the famous Sweet Chicks Life restaurant in Brooklyn. She posted a photo of the two of them cozying up in the restaurant. “Only KINGS recognize QUEENS. @sweetchicklife has the best food congrats @nas,” she wrote on Instagram. Since May, the dating rumors died down for a bit until last week Monday when photos and videos surfaced on social media of Nicki Minaj and Nas getting cozy at his 44th birthday bash. The couple partied with Alicia Keys and Swizz Beatz who was also celebrating his own birthday which was the day before Nas celebrated his.
In May, Nicki Minaj also sat down for an interview with Ellen DeGeneres where she spoke about Nas and how they had “sexy sleepovers.” “I go to (his house) I just thought him coming to me was too forward,” Nicki said about the Illmatic rapper. “Let me clarify, we didn’t do the.” Ellen then asked her if they did the Nasty and she said, “No, because I’m just chilling right now, I’m celibate. I wanted to go a year without dating any men, I hate men. But I might make an exception to the rule for him.”
On Sunday, Nas got his classic 1988 Mercedes-Benz 190E and picked up Nicki Minaj in Brooklyn. “Got my Bday 1988 190E Benz & picked up Shorty from Queens! We Out!” he wrote on Instagram. Seems the two also did a photo shoot which kind of make it seems like their relationship is also for publicity. After all, both rappers have upcoming projects coming out this fall.
Nicki Minaj also posted a clip on her IG with the caption, “Nasty Nas hopped out the illmatic ’88 benz tryna holla @ me earlier today in Queens. #GucciDown $54.11’s @nas.” There is no doubt that Nicki and Nasty Nas will be a hip-hop power couple with his credentials as a legend in the genre and she has been making a name for herself as the top female emcee for the last decade.
Lyrics Gucci Mane – Make love
Uhhh, Gucci
Wanna make love, love, love.
King of the skreets
And when these suckas see me, they should bow to my feet
And kiss the ground underneath
I look down at the beef
That shit childish to me
Two hundred thousand to see me
And it’s been sold out for weeks
Can’t brush shoulders with me
These stones in my choker are 2 karats apiece
Look like boulders to me
Damn, who colder than me?
You think he colder than me?
You more bipolar than me
You talkin’ crazy
I’m tryna book Beyoncé for my wedding day
I’m the type of nigga, spend a million on a wedding cake

They hate to see ya elevate
I just left out the gym
I’m ’bout to take a swim and meditate

And I might take your b*tch and pay her bills
That’s how I feel today
And I just wanna f*ck
Don’t wanna chill, that’s how I feel today.
I’m makin’ money like I’m makin’ sweet love
I wanna make love, love, love

Wanna make love, love, love, huh.
Ay yo, ain’t talkin’ housewives, but I’m in the Porsche
First I’ma scorch her, then I’ma torch her
Then I’ma torture her, then I’ma off her
A million dollars for a show, they made their off-er
Go against Nicki, it’s gon’ cost ya
‘Cause now it’s f*ck ya, intercourse ya

I’m the iPhone, you the Nokia
Everybody know you jealous, b*tch it’s so clear
Tell them bum ass b*tches to play their role

Oooohhh, oh you the qu-e-e-the queen of this here?
One platinum plaque, album flopped, b*tch, where?
Hahaha, ahhhhhhh
I took two bars off just to laugh
You see, silly rabbit, to be the queen of rap
You gotta sell records, you gotta get plaques
S, plural like the S on my chest
Now sit your dumbass down
You got an F on your test.
I’m makin’ money like I’m makin’ sweet love
I wanna make love, love, love
She say the money make her wanna make love
Wanna make love, love, love, huh.
I love to see the money stack up
Hope that we don’t ever, ever break up
Wanna make love, love, loveee.
